Privacy Policy
Aviaro is an iPhone app for FPV and RC pilots. It helps you check flight readiness, review weather, save flying spots, log flights, track batteries, and attach optional local flight photos.
Local App Data
Aviaro is designed as a local-first app. The current app does not require an account, sign-in, subscription, cloud sync, or payment flow. Your saved spots, flight log, battery records, settings, unit preferences, weather cache, and optional flight photo attachments are stored on your device through iOS app storage.
Flight photos selected from your camera or photo library are copied into Aviaro's app-owned local storage. The current app code does not upload those photos to a server.
Location And Weather
If you allow location access, Aviaro uses your current location to request nearby weather for flight readiness. Current location is used for weather and is not saved as a flying spot unless you choose to save a spot yourself.
Aviaro may request weather or geocoding data from Apple WeatherKit when available and Open-Meteo as a fallback. Those requests can include coordinates or a location query needed to return weather data.
Support Requests
The support form on this website works without login. If you submit it, Aviaro stores your selected topic, message, optional name, optional contact detail, page URL, referrer, browser user agent, status, and submission time in Firebase Realtime Database for later review.
Do not submit sensitive personal information through the support form. Contact details are optional and should be included only if you want to provide a way to identify or follow up on your request.
Services Used
- iOS app storage and permissions for local app data, location, camera, and photo library access.
- Apple WeatherKit and Open-Meteo for weather and location-related weather data.
- Firebase Hosting for these public web pages.
- Firebase Realtime Database for browser support form submissions.
The current app code does not include Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, advertising, push notifications, AI services, payment processing, subscriptions, or user accounts.
Deleting Data
You can reset Aviaro's local app data from the Settings screen. You can also delete individual app records where the app provides a delete action. Deleting local app data does not automatically delete support requests submitted through this website.
For privacy questions or support-request deletion requests, use the Support page and choose the Privacy topic. Include enough detail to identify the request, but avoid adding sensitive personal information.
Children's Privacy
Aviaro is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child submitted personal information through the support form, send a privacy request through the Support page.
Changes
This policy may be updated when Aviaro changes how it handles data. The effective date at the top of this page shows when this version took effect.
